This Privacy Policy applies to the EmPlayer application (“Application”), created by Ebs (“Service Provider”). The Application is provided as an Ad‑Supported service and is intended for use AS IS.

1. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The Application uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect and share:

• Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
• Diagnostics data used for fraud prevention, security, and compliance

2. App Interactions (Trakt)

If the user chooses to connect a Trakt account, the Application may send:

• Viewing progress
• Episode/season watch status

These data are used only to provide app functionality and sync the user’s Trakt account.

3. User‑Provided Content (MyMemory Translation API)

When the user requests subtitle translation, the Application sends the subtitle text to the MyMemory API. This data is used only for translation and is not stored by the Application.

How We Use the Data

• To provide core app features (Trakt sync, subtitle translation)
• To display ads (AdMob)
• To prevent fraud and ensure security (AdMob diagnostics)

Data Sharing

The Application may share data with:

• Google AdMob – advertising, fraud prevention
• Trakt – only if the user connects their account
• MyMemory – only when translation is requested

No other third parties receive any data.

Opt‑Out Options

• Users may disable personalized ads through their device settings.
• Users may disconnect Trakt at any time.
• Users may avoid translation features by not using them.
• Users may uninstall the Application to stop all data collection.

Children’s Privacy

The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

The Application uses secure encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transfers.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Users are encouraged to review it periodically.
